i have a new drawing chair, adding to my studio set up a little more each day.look for me in the portland press herald next month, they should be runing an article giving away a few secret details about my collaborative comic idea with other artists around here like joel rivers, ryan lamunyon, ben asselin and michael connor. (if its not in there, check next month)
getting some illus. job work done today, before i fall behind.

ive got some really great stuff coming up soon to post on the site, but unfortunatly i cant put them up until after xmas, because they are gifts for people, but its some of my favorite things ive ever drawn. i guess thats all i can say about that now haha. but stay tuned.i find out if i win the xeric award tomorrow for NATHAN THE CAVEMAN. this will be my second time applying, and if i dont win it, i will just apply again. one day they will get sick of receiving 6 copies of my heavy 300 pager and just give me a grant to shut me up. :)
february is not to far away. im very very excited for the 3 day NYCOMICCON feb 6-8. im sitting in between simon bianchi and brian bolland! and even more amazing, my great friend JOEL RIVERS miraculously got a last minute table, so he will be there as well!
wish me luck on the xeric. i have to go patch up my friends passenger window, her car got broken into last night.... some people.

after the thanksgiving mini vacation. getting my life back together and finishing up some pieces for different clients, which ill be proud to show off soon. but besides that ive been getting things together for this friday, the december first friday art walk here in portland. im going to be having some original artwork on sale in maples right next to casablanca comics on middle st. ill be there all night, showing my stuff, and hopefully selling some more books as well. so come say hi.December 01, 2008
